We are sure you can guess that funding a project like this is a huge feat, and you’re exactly right - it is a 𝙂𝙄𝙂𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙄𝘾 feat.
So we have launched a Kickstarter campaign to help us offset some of the astronomical cost associated with this awesome space. The way Kickstarter works though, is if we do not get to our goal- 𝙬𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜. Every single penny raised from this campaign will be put towards securing tools and equipment that is needed for the shops and studios.
Participation - even if it is just $1 - is critical in the first 1-3 days, but especially the first day because enough activity will make our campaign “trend” on Kickstarter (appear on the homepage). That will get us much needed exposure and support from around the world. The first 1-3 days are known as the “make or break” period for a campaign. Please help us make it!
With your support, you can help drive the Maker Movement forward. You can help a small business (or many!) get their start. You can help a kid learn how to code, use power tools or 3D print his own toys and SO much more.
